Brief:Front counters upgrade
Info:A refresher upgrade of front counter surfaces using Corian® tops from Dupont. Associated works included new black & white glass with signal red, stainless steel channels, angles and skirting.
The works was carried out after hours for minimum disruption on store operations.
Corian® was chosen for its durability, aesthetic appearance, and warmth. It is also flexible with no open joins achieving the smooth final shape appropriate for this particular installation.

Brief:Minor civil works
Info:The civil works included the demolishing of kerbs & gutters, constructing a new driveway crossing, with associated line-marking and wheel stops.
The creation of pedestrian paths through the carpark improved the overall safety, making the area more pedestrian friendly as well as streamlining traffic.
Multiple 100mm diameter non-proprietary bollards were installed near the pay on foot machines, as well as various traffic access gates. Surface mounted railings were installed on concrete footpaths along Keith Smith Avenue.

Brief:De-fit of ex Urban store
Info:On commencing of works, site induction took place and the surrounding area was safety prepared; necessary for work to proceed in earnest.
We identified and isolated building services, from electricity and water as well as fire and mechanical services. This particular defit required the demolition of walls, the dismantling of a solid steel staircase leading to a 2nd level as well as support metal structure beams.
Collective demolition debris was removed offsite.
Other make good building works included wall building, gyprocking and air-conditioning.

Info:A rapid response upgrade works was carried out on lights at various levels of the carpark, including emergency lighting. Lighting levels throughout the carpark was increased to give a higher light output for the same wattage lamps used.
Citipark is suitably located next to Darling Harbour, Cockle Bay, Sydney Aquarium, Queen Victoria Building and Darling Park.

Info: To keep car park operations as smooth as possible, the electrical and lighting maintenance works was undergone after hours. Following a comprehensive lighting inspection, various upgrade & replace works was carried out on tube holders, ballasts and light tubes.
The level of activities associated with the Sydney Opera House and its surrounding areas incur much demand on an already busy carpark. It already experience high volume activities serving visitors and residents of East Circular Quay and Macquarie Street.

Brief:Preparation works for new In-Store Rotating Menuboard System
Info:Bulkhead works included structural steel beam and posts to accommodate the new Rotating Menuboard System. The large galvanised steel beam and posts are utilised to provide strength from ground to ceiling, while the tie-downs and bracing are designed to cope with the potential weights.
The menuboard system is custom made to suit the needs of Hungry Jack's, manufactured and supplied by Coates Signco Pty Limited. They specialise in menuboard systems for all types of applications to be placed in any configuration of choice. The installed Rotating MenuboardT system enables quick change of translite images to be effected in only a few seconds.

Brief:Painting and lighting upgrade
Info:Revamp painting surfaces for the entire car park and upgrade all lighting to Tri-phosophorous daylight tubes.
Also intense maintenance work and high-pressured degreasing followed by a complete machine scrub was carried out on grease affected ground surfaces as well as the entire car park grounds.

Info:Vegagroup was recently engaged for the refurbishment of the handicap parking bays at the Goulburn St. Parking Station. Due to the level of traffic at this parking station, the works were carried out after hours with total compliance with all regulatory requirements.
