Brief:Relocation of fixtures from United Airlines First & Business Class Lounge to UA Customer Service Offices at Level 3
Info:United Airlines decided to close their
Sydney Airport Red Carpet Club Lounge (UA SYD RCC) and relocate it to
Air New Zealand's Lounge; considering the existing lounge was large for
their purpose. Following induction from Hamilton Thomson, the project
went ahead but spanned over three days due to Airside security requirements.
During which office fixtures and signage were relocated to UA's existing
offices on Level 3.
Located on Level 1 with elevator access from Gates
50 - 63, Air New Zealand's Lounge also hosts travellers for Air Canada,
Austrian Air, Gulf Air, Korean Air and Thai Airways.
The lounge is
spacious with modern, stylish interior and warm New Zealand hospitality.
It opens during Air New Zealand or partner airlines flights, two hours
prior to departure.
Lounge access can be obtained with a Business Class
ticket, a Star Alliance Gold with same day ticket and UA Red Carpet
Club Card with same day ticket on any Star Alliance Carrier.
